The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce is located in Gwinnett County, which is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. Most notably, in 2009, the Gwinnett Chamber was the only chamber in the nation to secure two Fortune 500 company headquarter relocations to Duluth, GA.
Currently, a high level director of the Small and Medium Business Corporation has come to Duluth, Georgia, to further accelerate and assist Korean-based companies. The Small & Medium Business Corporation (SBC) is a non-profit, government-funded organization established to implement government policies and programs for the sound growth and development of Korean Small and Medium Enterprises.
To achieve its purpose, SBC operates financial and non-financial programs for SMEs. Through financial programs, SBC provides financing for SMEs to expand operations, develop new products and convert their business structures. With non-financial programs including consulting, training, marketing and global cooperation programs, SBC supports SMEs to enhance their global competitiveness.
Also, many international Chambers of Commerce and trade organizations are aware of the International Business Accelerator to benefit firms entering the U.S. from their home countries, including those from Europe, Asia, South America and Central America.
Local chambers play a pivotal role in building strong international relationships and positioning companies for success in the U.S. By working with the International Business Accelerator, the chambers enhance the companies’ ability to facilitate trade for incoming companies through ongoing mentorship, guidance and on-ground assistance.
The International Business Accelerator (iba) is also supported by the City of Atlanta, City of Duluth, Gwinnett County, other local State governments in the southeast, and other trade organizations to welcome international companies and assist with economic development into the United States.
